Memmi ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it. By using Memmi you agree to this policy.
Memmi is a WhatsApp-based reminder service operated in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at privacy@memmi.co.uk.
When you use Memmi we collect the following information:
Your WhatsApp phone number — used to identify your account and deliver reminders to you.
Reminder content — the text of reminders you ask us to set, along with the date and time you want to be reminded.
Message metadata — timestamps and delivery status of messages sent and received through our service.
Subscription information — if you upgrade to Pro, we process payment through Stripe. We do not store your card details — these are handled securely by Stripe.
We use your data solely to provide and improve the Memmi service. Specifically:
To send you reminders at the times you request. To manage your subscription and process payments. To provide customer support if you contact us. To improve how the service works over time.
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your data for advertising purposes.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. We retain your data for as long as you have an active account with us.
Memmi delivers reminders via WhatsApp, which is operated by Meta Platforms, Inc. Your use of WhatsApp is subject to Meta's own privacy policy and terms of service. We only share the minimum data necessary with WhatsApp to deliver your messages.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the data we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate data, request deletion of your data, and object to how we process your data.
To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@memmi.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@memmi.co.uk. We will delete your data within 14 days of your request.
Our website (memmi.co.uk) does not use tracking cookies or analytics. We do not track your behaviour on our website.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make significant changes we will notify you via WhatsApp. The date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent version.
